The Guernsey Chess Club meets every Tuesday evening at 7:30pm at Les Cotils. Visitors are always welcome. Please feel free to contact one of the officers listed if you wish to find out more. Junior Chess Club is for young people aged 8 to 16 from 6:00PM to 7:15PM every Tuesday during the school term. Junior Chess19/02/2007 IM Robert Bellin simultaneous 14/02/2007 IM Robert Bellin simultaneous intro The Guernsey Chess Federation has organised the Guernsey Junior Chess Championships since 1977 and the names of the winners of the 4 age categories are shown in the table below. Since 1992 the winner of the Under 18 category has been presented with the Chris Mahy Cup and since 1995 the winner of the Under 16 category receives the Dot Ogier Shield. Local schools have organised an open tournament since 2000 and therefore this tournament has not been held since.
